Big turn out for the McFadyen Trophy 36 players turned out on Friday night for the McFadyen Trophy and refreshments laid on at the 8th hole to keep them all happy.A new bench seat was placed at the 8th tee in memory of Bill and Betty McFadyen and it was well christened. But backto the golf and played in the scramble formatwith a slight difference this year the player who shot was chosen did not hit the next shot and it proved very succesful , the main prizes on the night were , First - C Middleton, J Bicker and J Dunn (39) Second- C Moffatt, M Manvell, and H Whitelaw (39.7) Third - M Wood, J Gordon and D Standaloft (39.9) |
