Latest news April Medal David Reid welcomed the new season in by winning not only the first class medal but also the scratch category. His gross 74, net 66 was an obvious return to form from the Captain of the last 2 seasons. This Week-end With the Argyll and Bute Match Play Championships being played over Machrihanish this week-end the Port restricts itself to the Spring Handicap on Sunday. Competitions A reminder that entry sheets are in the locker room notice boards for all of this season's knockout competitions. Entries close on Sunday 11th May. Daily Mail Foursomes Jimmy Dunn & Sandy Hill, as winners of last season's Harry Hope Trophy, have been drawn at home to Ardeer Golf Club in the 2nd round of this prestigious competition. Salmon Leap Jim Bicker won the first counter Salmon Leap of the summer season. Members are reminded that the Salmon Leap is now on Fridays with a ballot at 5.30. Sprayed Greens Members are asked to be careful on the greens as they have been sprayed this week. |

A hundred thousand welcomesPort Bannatyne Golf Club is located on the beautiful and historic Isle of Bute, in Scotland.
